So the boss is on your back because you spend too much time on eBay during work hours. What to do? This program helps you sneak a discreet peek at your 100 live auctions on company time by "disappearing" browser windows with a hot-key shortcut. Granted, this is no magic trick.

Once online, if you press your series of customizable hot keys, any telltale trail of Web activity is gone from the screen, the task manager, the process list, and the running application list. The only way to bring the browser windows back is to hit the hot-key sequence again. Instant Hidden Internet works with most browsers, and can be adjusted to affect Windows Explorer windows, too.

The app is incredibly low-maintenance, running from a small EXE file that doesnt even make a mark in the Add/Remove Programs tab in the Windows Control Panel.

Potentially useful for employees who don't have cubicle walls to hide their surfing habits from nosy coworkers, possibly silly for others who have the power to simply close a browser window, Instant Hidden Internet is free, no-frills and functional.

Hide or close Internet browser and chat windows using a hot key.
Quickly hide or close all Internet browser windows, chat windows and folder windows with the touch of a customizable hot key (boss key). Chat windows stay hidden even if new ones try to pop-up. Windows are even hidden from the Windows Task Manager. To make hidden windows visible, just press your hotkey again. Instant Hidden Internet will not appear in the Add or Remove Programs list and is very discreet. Instant Hidden Internet is compatible with virtually all Internet browsers (Internet Explorer, Ace Explorer, AOL, Avant Browser, Firefox, Flock, Google Chrome, Maxthon, NetCaptor, Netscape, Offline Explorer, Opera, Safari, Slim Browser) and chat programs (AIM, Google Talk, ICQ, mIRC, Pidgin, Skype, Trillian, Yahoo!, Windows Messenger). Users running Windows 9x or Windows Me should download the Installer from the developer's Web site only if they cannot run the program.
