IndyaMail 2Kul File-Splitter for Windows

This freeware is a simple and effective file splitter/joiner, but must be installed anywhere you send files. 2Kul File-Splitter's simple dialog-sized interface needs no Help file to understand. Options are clear and easily set.

Splitting or joining files is easily done with this utility. To split you merely need to choose from one of the predefined sizes or set a custom size for each segment. The four common predefined sizes will work for most user needs. Choosing the file to split is easily accomplished using the program's file tree browse option or you can simply manually enter the file path. Press Go and the file is quickly split. Segment names and extensions are automatically set by the program. An additional file is saved with instructions for 2Kul File-Splitter on what is needed to rejoin the file. Joining files is even easier. You merely click Join then search for the special join file named with the original file's name and an FSM extension.

Our only problem with this utility is if you send a split file, your recipient must have 2Kul File-Splitter to rejoin the file. Other than that, this freeware program is small, quick, effective, and useful.
