  I installed it thinking it was free, I realised itwas not (OK say my fault, too much of a hurry, too little time) Now I unistalled it right away after installing, they asked if I was ok to use back up they made at installation, said ok to leave my system as clean as possible. then I got 6-to 7 messages about shared dll in c:\windows\system32 that were not used anymore and asking if I agreed to remove, it took me time to decide, it was tricky I felt that was a kind of deliberate retaliation against non purchasers,. Bottom line wean you'll unistall it one day there is a risk your system will not be clean or you have suppressed potentially usefull dll. paying and complicate to uninstall :, pass by

  Pros

  This App. is the Bee's Knees. It works and is extremely tailorable. The more I use it the more I find it can do! Plus Having spoken directly to the support staff I am already looking forward to future enhancements of this invaluable product. It should be in every comm/Ip persons toolbox.

  Cons

  In order take advantage of some of the more advanced properties I'm going to have to learn Visual Basic scripting.

  Pros

  The emulator is neat, powerful and very easy to use. It even support com port number larger than 16 which was left out by a lot of other similar product. It also support baudrate higher than 115200(upto 921600. I got these extra features through their support email. Hopefully they will release it in newer versions soon (2.0.60) . Finally, I am saying good bye to hyperterminal, Could not be happier.
