This smart-looking utility restores digital images that have been accidentally deleted from CompactFlash, Memory Stick, Secure Digital, SmartMedia, Microdrive, MMC, USB memory drives, and even hard drives. ImageRecall's interface is simple; just specify the source drive for recovery and press the Recover Lost Files button. We couldn't test all the program's features, since the demo disables advanced options such as file-type selection, memory-card backup, and CD burning. Also, the trial version recovers only 10 movies and 10 images per scan. You can preview found images in a thumbnail browser before recovering them, but you can't preview movies. Despite those limitations, ImageRecall is a dependable, well-made package that makes a stressful process as painless as it can be. Its quirky '50s-retro styling and inability to recover any files but images and movies make it better suited for home use than for offices.

great program which recovers lost files!

I had just returned from an interview with director, Gil Kenan, and was happily preparing to download my picture with him when my computer refused to read my memory card. I tried the card again on my computer, and it said the files had been "corrupted." I was horrified that I had lost my souvenir, as well as the picture I needed for my newspaper article, and scoured the web for a way to recover the photos. I found this program, and decided that the money was worth less than the pictures, and purchased it. It worked fantastically and recovered all of my pictures from my "inaccessible" memory card! Since, I've used it when I accidentally deleted one picture to many from my memory card. It really is such a relief to know that I can rely on it to find my pictures if anything goes wrong again with my memory card, or if I make a stupid error and delete my photos myself. Overall, it does exactly what it says it does and I think that it is well worth the price to recover your precious photos! The only downside for me was that at the time they did not offer it for Macs, which is my primary computer, and I had to install it on my parents' computer.

Pros
easy to use, recovered pretty much all of my lost photos on my SD card.
Cons
the demo version only shows you 10 of my 880 recovered photos so i had no idea whether the ones i needed the most were found. would have been better if they showed you all the files but didn't let you save unless you purchased.
Summary
great product that was able to recover pretty much all of my lost photos on my SD card. a task that no other downloadable product was able to do thus far (o n i tried them all!!! including zero assumption recovery which found the files but could not piece them together to show me the images). i did end up losing a few earlier photos but that tends to be the case when u accidentally format the card.
Does not detect my flash media drive

Unable to evaluate, it could not detect my flash media drive. The computer however does.

Nice looking user interface.
Cons
Demo version shows only files that are already available (i.e. not deleted). Therefore no ability to test the recovery capabilties. Useless.
