Sketch and modify an approximate outline of fractal.

An interactive IFS Fractal generator focused on the Collage Theorem, IFS Lab allows the user to sketch an approximate outline of the desired fractal, then cover it with transformed images of itself to build a collage. The transformed images can be stretched, rotated and translated with the mouse in an easy to use user interface. The attractor can then be rendered by the random iteration algorithm, either in monochrome or in grayscale.

Runs as advertised under Windows 7. Not a Trojan.

Pros
Good introduction to IFS. A walk through explains how to use the program. Several examples are given including Sierpinski triangle and Barnsley fern.
Cons
Very limited tools for generating initial outline.
Summary
This program is suitable for high school students. After using it they can move on to programs with more tools.
