  Does not work, does not have any real support. They will continually tell you to uninstall and re-install but never tell you,,"oh, and by the way, you cannot run this on Windows7, sorry about your luck."

  Summary

  Don't buy it. And be sure and read all the reviews when you do buy.

  Pros

  On a tip my county sheriffs office asked for permission to look at my computer. Of course there was nothing to be found. They thanked me and left. When I ran Identity Patrol, it found a key logger, and Trojan that hadn't been there the day before, and successfully removed them.

  Cons

  IDpatrol will report several of it's own files. When you delete them IDpatrol needs to be updated and restores those files where they are found on the next scan. If you tell IDpatrol to ignore these files, they won't be flagged again.

  Summary

  Over all IDpatrol is a very good program. It catches spyware before it can download to your computer. I've been using it for several years, and with the exception shown in Cons:, I've been very satisfied. I noted a complaint that IDpatrol doesn't update every day. Mine hasn't updated in a month and a half. This doesn't mean that it's not up to date. This isn't an antivirus that can need updating daily.

  Summary

  I bought this useless piece of software months ago. I have opened up multiple tickets indicating a runtime 52 error. Been told many time times to reload the software. Now I'm told to install Registery Patrol until the developers investigate. That is a piece of crap as well and doesn't work. They wanted to charge me $ 40 to fix the issue. When I asked for my money back they place me on ignore. You can't send James an email directly you have to respond through thier useless ticketing system WTF boys !!!! I think James is the only dude who works for this uselss company. I seriously can't tell you if the appliaction works because it only worked for a a month. James also keeps telling me it's a firewall issue.... This latest issue started on a new upgrade and they can't figure out what the hell is going on.

  None, this program is a complete waste of time and money.

  I wish I read these reviews before purchasing. As the other reviewers have said, the program creates fictitious threats. It even tried to remove my other Spyware and antivirus programs saying that they were high threats! If you read any review on this program then you will read about the fake activity monitor threat that always appears. Like another said, the best name for this should be scareware. If you want good programs then use a combination of Superantispyware and Malwarebytes.

• A Scam and I Fell for It!

  There is no "Pro" whatsoever.

  This program faked malware, tricked me into buying it, and wasted hours of my time trying to solve a non-existent problem.

  Summary

  I'm almost too ashamed to write this review but I hope my failure can be a signpost on the road to destruction for others. This program faked "Activity Monitor" on my PC, making me believe there was a key-logger installed that nothing else could detect. I paid the registration fee, it pretended to remove the program (and may otheres), then the progrom showed up again every thime I restarted the PC and re-scanned. Now, having ripped this scam-ware pout by the roots, my concerns are 1. how to get my money back? 2. did it install anything malignant while it was scamming me?

  R I P O F F A L L T H E W A Y. NO STARS. Z E R O R A T I N G. Was supposed to receive TWO PRODUCTS for the price of ONE 5 months ago. Submitted a ticket then, because I could NOT get the SECOND PRODUCT and I have NOT heard from them YET.

  This was recommended online by NERD, got that name right, denies any connection with the company find it hard to believe.

  Summary

  As a previous report has stated, this finds threats, removes them, then they are still there when you run this rubbish again, I have run this straight after the removal and threats are still there. This came with Registry Patrol, that disappeared somewhere. Email support advise me nothing can remove all threats, or threats are installed again therefor you need this program to protect your system. I'm not sure if that was from the help line or the tooth fairy.

  THis program list found "spyware"/intrusions. But you click remove. But the items are still pressent. I don't know if the software intentionally missleads you or the programmers are idiots.
