  This thing pulls every icon, and I mean EVERY icon from your PC. After seeing this thing run, I can't believe people pay for icon packages.

  The ONLY con is, of course, you get mucho duplicates, but so what! It's free!!

  Look it is Free 1 2 the Gui Is just Plane easy as linux 3 it finds all your icons even the ones in .dll's it looks in .zips and just about all your files the best i have seen yet just try it. it takes up no space and is just one .exe file there is no isue that i have seen this guy gits a 10 pluss in my book The world is FREE

  For the user that said he couldn't save an icon - this isn't true. Try DOUBLE-CLICKING on an icon, and watch what happens. The positive: it does a great job, and does it for free! The negative: the user-interface needs much more fine tuning. But so what - it's a very useful little utility.

  This tool only extract 16 colors icons, and not 256 colors icons nor 32 bits or XP style (48 bits) icons. One can only scan a folder and not select an individual EXE or DLL.

  I just followed other peoples advice and saved as a ico extension. I then downloaded an ico to bmp converter and now I have an image I can use and edit.

  Not much to look at but does everything I need. Scans from selected directory through subs, picking up all sorts of images. Ability to interrupt scan. Can then copy 'a' selected image (one at a time) to designated location. Running on XT Pro without problems. Note: Must remember to add .ico extension to selected item's filename when saving (eg. Icon.ico).

  The program finds the icons but when you try and save them, they don't work. The comments about 'copy and paste' from a reviewer are not correct
