HyperTRANSCRIBE lets you transcribe nearly any audio or video file, quickly and easily. With keyboard shortcuts that keep your fingers close to the home row you can transcribe on any Windows or Mac OS computer without needing a cumbersome foot pedal. Customizable shortcuts let you quickly enter blocks of text in a single keystroke. Media can be played in segments of definable length, with looping and other options to help your transcribing.

Pros
It's the only thing I could find that does video as well as audio files. Saves a lot of time.
Cons
I wish it work on Linux (Mac and Windows only).

Pros
It must be good for people who want to watch what other people say and copy it down too, so I'll give it 2 stars.
Cons
After downloading, even though the program is small, it says that you need to download Apple Quicktime to run the program. This kind of annoyed me, since I now had to download another program, when I already have Winamp and Windows Media Player. This made me take a star off of its rating very quickly. It also wasn't what I wanted at all, since "transcribing" for a guitarist like myself is figuring out the "tabs" or the chords of a song.
