• Strong set of tools

  Pros

  Automatic link updating. Change a file name and all links get updated. <p> <p>Good hot spot editor. Cuts the drudgery of creating maps. <p> <p>Hierarchial file index is worth the price of admission. Sounds trivial, but seeing your help or site pages laid out in a hierarchy pays huge dividends when maintaining helps or a site. <p> <p>Quickly move from source mode, WYSIWYG and preview modes without losing your cursor. I work mostly in the source mode but often use the WYSIWIG mode to find out where to put my cursor.

  Cons

  CSS support is weak, but I use TopStyle to manage that part and with a little cut and paste the weakness no longer bothers me. <p> <p>The WinterTree spell checker does a pretty good job of finding spelling errors but the suggestions it gives border on the absurd. That's really not HyperText Studio's fault since WinterTree is about the only affordable spell checker out there. <p> <p>The WYSWYG features are probably not simple enough to let the new user slide to success. I made my first page with it and quickly migrated to a combination of source and WYSWYG editing -- and ended up learning HTML far less painfully than had I used only a source editor.

  WYSIWYG not even close After you figure out how you can manually edit a peice of work you have no control over what your typing if this makes sense,. I wouldn't even pay a nickle to throw this program in the recycle bin its worthless
