HTML Password Pro is a program, which protects your Web pages with passwords. Once you have password-protected your page no unauthorized person will be able to view its content without having a correct password, either in a browser or as an original HTML source. In a Web browser the contents of a password-protected page may be viewed only after a valid password is entered. In a text viewer the content of an encoded page appears as a block of JavaScript data in an HTML page. Encrypted HTML pages could be placed on your Web site, LAN, CD, DVD, local, or network hard drives. You can password-protect both HTML and text files.

Version 5.011 fixes bugs.

Think twice about purchasing

Works as advertised.
Cons
I upgraded my computer and the author will not let me move the license to the new PC. I'm not trying to cheat him by loading it on two computers. He is cheating me by forcing me to buy another copy when it has been uninstalled on the old computer.

I think the writer of this program ranked it high, I came on download.com and seen it, and downloaded it and it seemed easy to use, but did not test it, so I paid for pro version of it and went to use it, and it vhanges the rest of the web page, doubling it in length, I tried emailing the very small contact link on there site and only to get the email back saying the email address ( a hotmail address) is no good. I am amazed download.com is allowing this

Pros
nothing good that i found with this trial version. There is a virus that they give you when you install there prg. I curious does anyone from download.com check the software before putting it up for people to download it off of there server if not,,, then I would becareful to download anything from this website,,, seems to me they condone virus to all there users who log on this site. Somebody in my opinion is NOT doing there job!

There is a virus in the download trial version... Its really sad when a company want you to buy there product and they include a virus in it!
