typical splitting software, sometimes can protect low-res images from pirate download, can be useful

1. It allowed me to use only 1 static slice layout (marketing text says different), in a form of simple splitters though whole image area <p> <p>2. There is only one, the simplest method of fragmentation, so splitted image can be easily reconstructed by a pirate who wishes to use your costly pictures without permission <p> <p>3. It is hard to select file format manually with no automatic assistance for "most suitable image format" <p> <p>4. When I tried HTML Splitter with <p>1280x1024 image, program crashed my computer with "Abnormal program termination" message, but this is actually not a big problem

Arbitrary cuts allowed, secure image mode, batch processing, and most suitable file type auto-selection - not much better than this! It also allows a zoom feature so larger pictures can be made smaller to fit the window. Finally, it has a ruler to measure pixel width/height!
Cons
While most trials give a time limit and thus have use, this product is not very good if not registered - final pieces are marked with an "unregistered" tag!

Pretty easy to use, seems to work well.
Cons
Although described as "Shareware", you can not functionally use this program without purchasing. It brands the images it splits (every section) with "unregistered". Silly.
