Hardwood Hearts is a classic card game with gorgeous graphics and intriguing gameplay. Played on a rustic hardwood table, this revamped classic lures you in with a colorful medieval theme featuring enchanting music and imagery. The playing cards are 3D, so they flip and turn as you play. Choose from different fantasy card sets that come with the game or build your own decks. Test your hearts-playing resolve against Smoot the Dragon or Glitter the Fairy. There are 31 different opponents in all. Customize your own player by selecting different character images and backgrounds and thousands of color possibilities. Play as a sweet little puppy or a demon dog from hell, all by simply editing your character.

Single P;ayer mode really stinks

Pros
Pretty graphics
Cons
The quality of play at the hardest level is very poor. Passing is very predictable and the logic of play leaves a lot to be desired. I am an average player but win consistently... which shouldn't be if the logic was just a bit better. Not entertaining, a waste of your money.
Summary
Don't waste your money on this one.

Pros
U met new people online. Some are nice
Cons
Really people are so rude and mean here. The players call others names like morons, idiots, stupid, Bit** Cun*, Assh**** While the guides, and customer service does nothing. As well, the site has many error problems and shuts down in the middle of games, or stalls. TRUELY NOT WORTH THE MONEY HERE!!! Sorry I paid for it
Summary
If your thinking about buying, DON'T!!!! You can play for free and not waste money on the verbal abuse you get there
Disappointed

Pros
Little slowdown, easy for low-end machines to run. Many ways to place, nice in-house rules for cards
Cons
Poor customer service, graphics have not aged well, micro-transaction services not worthwhile. Old Aaron Walz music gone.
Summary
Originally, one of the things I liked about HWH back in the day was how easily it helped you learn how to play hearts. It was colorful, had an online element, beautiful award-winning music and a cheap enough way to get the full game after the demo ran out. It beat out Microsoft Hearts, which isn't hard.
The graphics, however, have not aged well and it is obvious that the old graphics were boosted but little to give 3D effects. What's worse, is that you are now limited to one graphic to use, the free tables are limited to one (!) and the chat is limited to paying players.
One of the most note-worthy elements, however, is now missing: the award-winning midi music by Aaron Walz, who has unfortunately vanished from the internet.
I looked forward to an upgraded experience, but what I find instead is a money sink, same as any Facebook game and other "FTP" games that quickly slide into "Pay To Win" models. It's rather disappointing that Silvercreek is resting on their laurels and not even bothering on support. Poor update, poor service.
Utter disappointment.
VERY POOR SITE!!!!

Pros
I didn't like much. The guides they provide are on a HUGE power trip and will ban you for asking for assistance if they are in a mood. Very hypocritical people run this site.
Cons
You cannot discuss past games in the lobby, even if you just say you wonder why someone would make that sort of play, or anything the guides don't like, they will ban you and silence you for next to nothing.
Summary
I would reccommend you look elsewhere for an internet card game. Ther are tons of sites out there. The customer service people are condascending and reply only if they want to. When they do, they are little to no help. A previous user mentioned they will ban you for nothing and seem to lack the ability to manage a site this size, and thats totally true. DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!
It's not a great card site but one of the few left on the internet.
heartme
Pros
You can play hearts, spades or euchre.
Cons
There is no customer service. It's a one time fee which they are interested in, but are not prepared to support a large number of players. So, customers are treated very badly so they will either leave or they ban players from their site for 10,000 days.

rip off why pay when u can have it for free

Pros
the staff treat you as if you are in grade school so if you like that type of place well then you may like it, and if u dont like it u can go play sumwhere else is what the guides tell ya , after i payed for it
Cons
WARNING: Read the fine print. While you think you are buying an online game you are NOT. You are paying for the offline version, and they are more than happy to tell you that its a privilege to get to play there ,they do this because then they can claim no responsability to your treatment and access online, and also I find it interesting that the staff from hardwood (silvercreek entertainment) have reviewed their own software when it clearly states they can not rate their own product cause half the reviews i have seen are by hardwood guides .
