  UTF-8 support syntax highlight fast

  Sometime a bit too big for simple tasks like simple open text file and add word or two (but far better that notepad for that anyway)

  Summary

  I'd recommend that editor for everyone who do his job in programming or webdev sphere. For me It was pretty messy to use monsters like Visual Studio to edit plain text files like PHP, and GridinSoft Notepad is the best choice for me.

  I'm not a programmer also do not use all huge possibilities of this application, I simply often do notes on different subjects and what not to suffer with Word I use notepad, and I've never meet better than this application. And U so get used to it, that any another notepad after it seems ugly and inconvenient. So - download & enjoy really beautiful and convenient application!

  Summary

  I've used this editor for years and keep using it. This editor is one of the most powerful editors that I've met. Lots of color schemes for coding, built-in HEX editor, macroses, spell checker, auto correction and lots of other nice things make your work in that notepad very pleasant. Same time it's pretty easy to start using it because of user-friendly interface. It will suite both for writing a code and as a standard windows notepad replacer for everyday needs.

  it has much more than you need from it, so no cons.

  Summary

  Very stable, easy to use, UI friendly, multifunctional and multilingual text editor. It is really powerful and in fact has nothing common with the Windows Notepad except text editing because it offers 100 times more functions and works with in a different way. It even can work with sql dump files of a great size opening them in few seconds (try to do this in the Windows notepad).

  It's the greatest product. I'm a web programmer. I have used only standard programms before.. such as CuteFtp, DreamWeaver and notepad ;) . But 2 weeks ago I found this product in the web. My friend has advised it to me. So.. now I can't imagine my world without this programm. Its very simple and powerfull. So, I can do my work 5 times faster. Thanks to the programmer, who made this variant of notepad. You know.. "notepad " is only the name. There is great difference between "notepad" and GridinSoft Notepad. So.. I found 4 details, that "I like" 1. Several windows inside the main frame. 2. Good lighted strings of the code. 3. There are a lot of skins for the product 4. Capability to read a lot types of files. and only one that I "don't like" I think, $54.00 - is very expensive for poor programmer )))) but its not the barrier for buying it.
