  I have sent an email to company asking if there is a compatibility problem with windows7 as I keep getting an error. Aldo tried with Foxfire and get same error. I have no response from them at this time. When I can down load and use program then I will re-evaluate.

  Pros

  It was very easy to download and install. Followed the instructions and I was off and running in minutes. It updated it self and gave up so much information that I haven't had a chance to research all the grant leads yet. Can't wait to see many responses I get from GrantGate. Glad I found this Free software.

  There is nothing hard to figure out about this software. You can click the X to not do the add that pops up when you install it, you can choose NOT to download the google ad, and then you can get to the real meat. The best way I can tell you to use this is to fill out the boxes that apply to you under the button at the top, called: beneficiary catagories. They are easy to figure out, things as simple as "woman" "student". After you do this, search and it will give you a HUGE list of grants... with what I typed in I received over 2,000 results. You just click on each.. and look at who they offer it too, see if you fit most of the catagories (you do NOT have to fit them all!, as it's almost impossible to be 21, and 65+ at the same time) See if they are offering the type of "aid" that you are looking for. For instance, if your looking for a grant, make sure you see "grant for individuals" If you need a place to live, try finding ones that list "Shelter", etc etc. Check mark the ones you like as you go through, and make sure you keep note of where you leave off, and add checked ones to your favorites list! (Do this by pressing the arrow with an F on it) It's that simple! After you have your list... which WILL take you some time, you can either make an inquiry "resume" as I call it, or go ahead and fill out all of the info you will need to make a full application. Then you just have to send them all out and wait for the hopefully good news!

  Cons

  The only "con" if you can call it that, is the fact that there are so many grants to go through. It will take you time, so this is for people who are SERIOUS about finding aid and help. Take your time, look through them all, and hopefully you'll be getting the help you need in no time!
