Won't go home

Pros
I am so excited to trial the Go Talk Now app with my speech-language client's who are nonverbal. I love the real pictures and ease of use... HOWEVER (see cons)
Cons
I purchased the app on Tuesday and designed "page 1". I was able to take photos using the camera and import them, label the icons, and record my voice. But now when I press the "Go Talk Now " icon on the iPad, it acts like it's loading because there is a spinning wheel, and then it pulls up the page 1 that I made. When I press the "home" button at the bottom, it doesn't do anything. In fact I've pressed all the buttons and can't get the page 1 to go away. I watched a You Tube tutorial and there is not a "go back" or "go forward" arrow at the bottom either!
Summary
Please help me! I would like to have it ready for my clients to try out next week!
