Small file size at 1.3 mb. No installation required. No registry files. Extremely simple to use.
Cons
None. Works perfectly.
Summary
As stated on the authors website you need to have Microsoft.net 1.1 or newer installed to use Golden Ear. This program is tiny and doesn't install anything to your registry. All you need to do is first create a directory anyplace on your hard drive, unzip the program to that directory and then you can create a shortcut on your desktop, start menu or wherever. Golden Ear has preloaded a bunch of sites. Some are inactive but you can easily delete them. I would like an auto update of this list but that would add more complication to this simple to use program. Try it out. You won't be sorry. If you don't like it all you have top do is delete the directory. This is the best podcatcher program available and is way better than iTunes.
