- this game is great never have i had so much fun with an indie game. the concept is great i would never imagine that a small bit of tar (or watever it is) could be used to provide so much fun.

- Maybe it was an issue with my lovely new flat-panel monitor, but even with brightness and contrast turned all the way up it was nearly impossible to distinguish blocks from the floor from Gish...there may be no more frustrating thing than timing jumps when you can't tell when you're hitting the ground or whether you're in land or water. The physics engine is a neat idea but it's very frustrating to play, especially when you have no idea what's going on due to the gray-on-gray graphics.

- This is an amazing game made by very creative people. The gameplay in Gish is very interesting, addictive and fun. Secondly, it is an easy game to pickup, but hard to master. Most importantly, you will have long hours of fun with Gish. The game´s arcade nature and versus mode assure good replayability. The game offers a great value. Of course, like any game, it is not perfect. The enemy AI could use some work in order to make it better use the environment and to become less predictable. However, this only becomes a problem if you go through the story mode multiple times. Finally, the graphics, while decent are not all that great and this may be in part due to the fact that the game´s maximum resolution is only 1280 x 960. Thankfully, these minor flaws are more than made up for by the game´s unique and incredibly fun gameplay.

- Great game.. The psysics engine is well done.. Although we have discovered a few fun bugs.. =D The versus mode is ment to be played dual with your friend.. No computer AI available.. I think.. The full version is worth its cost.. Try the demo and get hooked too!

- It boggles the mind that something so simple as a 2-player mode could have escaped the mind of the featured reviewer. The multiplayer in Gish is 20 times better than the single player (although the latter is incredible if and when you buy the full game). The only problem with the demo is that, simply, it's too small! It hardly does the game justice - the single level of the single multiplayer gametype available is nothing compared to the full-blown game. (And believe me, there are few things funnier in this world than watching two balls of tar fight over a football.) The other problem is that multiplayer gets a little bit cramped when two players are forced onto one keyboard; pick up a $5 gamepad somewhere if you really want to enjoy it. Overall? Disregard everything that the featured review says about multiplayer. Download this game. Buy this game.

- It apparently didn't occur to you that the 'versus' mode is for two person sitting at the same keyboard. You need to setup the keys for player two under options. If you don't play with a second person (which is sounds like you didn't) it is a win every time unless you do something stupid

- The vs. mode is awesome, its multiplayer. You need 2 players to play. This game is totally original and a ton of fun.
