Manage your e-mails after they ve been already sent.

Control your e-mail even after it has been delivered and opened. Prevent recipients from forwarding, printing, or copying your e-mail and attachments for a specific time period. Revoke permissions if you accidentally send an e-mail that you do not want people to read. Establish templates such as company confidential and set rules to automatically apply those templates. GigaTrust works with Outlook to protect e-mail with a single mouse click. GigaTrust also allows you to protect files using the right click menu within File Explorer. Protect all file types including DOC, XLS, PPT, PDF, RTF, TXT, JPEG, GIF, TIFF, WPD. Recipients download and install a free viewer for opening your protected e-mail. The free viewer automatically decrypts and displays protected content in the Outlook preview pane so you can work as you always have. GigaTrust works with your existing e-mail address and utilizes Windows Rights Management Services technology.

Version 3.2.385 includes support for all files types through the use of a protected envelope.

Pros
Useful Outlook-based tool for revoking email and assigning print and copy capabilities. Handles all types of attachments, including PDF.
Cons
Not integrated with Outlook Express on my home computer. Prevents screen print, but doesn't stop video recording software from capturing screen images.

Summary
I have been using Gigatrust for several months without problems, primarily with Word documents. Setup was easy, following simple step-by-step instructions (I am on XP, connecting via a campus network). The basic service provides all the features needed to email documents securely and control access.

I was very impressed with their product. It's easy to use with or without Outlook, as it offers so many other features that the basic Office 2003 RM. A few clicks and I was sending protected content that I can revoke and track for whomever had accessed it. Great product
