This application allows you to convert your animated or static GIF files to SWF (Shockwave) format. The Shockwave format is the same format used in Flash movies. This allows you to optimize file size while maintaining image quality for use in banners, icons, intros, and so on. An option is provided to generate a Web page based on your animated or static GIF. Gif2Swf will generate an HTML page with the correct object and embed codes.

Summary
It does the job. Finally you can make an animation and not have to worry about buying expensive and complex software, Simply open a saved GIF animation and convert it to flash. If you have no GIF animations, download Advanced GIF Animator from Download.com - It's free (unless you register it to remove advertisement) and easy to use. Make GIF animations turn to flash! It makes them smaller, quicker to load on web pages and reduces copying of your animations. It also makes a neat web page!
