  Summary

  I find it does not work in my computer. Windows 10 is not listed but before that, Windows xp had problems with this software. Running Seamonkey browser does not work with this software. Had to uninstall.

  Pros

  This software captures very well YouTube videos.

  Cons

  It installs a VIRUS named "Radio Canyon", which consumes a lot of the net bandwidth by pushing unwanted advertisement and preventing the user from accessing some internet pages. Instead, it pushes ads from the wanted pages' competitors. It has taken McAfee a level 2 technician to remove it.

  Summary

  DON'T EVER TRY THIS SOFTWARE.

  Pros

  Several weeks before an earlier version stopped working then updated and began working again.

  Cons

  But over time, this version too began to not work. The error message that is most common with my copy of the software is as follows: The connection can not be set up! Output format was set as WMV.

  Summary

  In general I can not tell if it is a browser incompatibility issue but know also that RealPlayer Downloader also fails to work with SeaMonkey but it does work with Firefox as well as Internet Explorer.

  Pros

  GetGo Youtube Downloader used to work then stopped then updated then began working again, then shortly after that stopped working again as if there are attempts at YouTube to thwart the use of GetGo YouTube Downloader software issue.

  Tried to convert multitudes of youtube videos, and Getgo kept displaying error messages.

  Summary

  Getgo is not a good product. It's safe, but it just doesn't get the job done.

  When it worked it did every thing as stated only in YouTube. But now it dosen't. I hear they are working on the problem. Let's hope so.

  Pros

  It worked properly a few weeks ago. Now it does not work. Can't connect error. I have been running Windows 7, home premium with RealDownloader and it works but that doesn't help much because I want GetGo to work and they told me recently there was an issue with the program that would be worked out soon.

  Cons

  Wondering how long this will take. meanwhile have to use RealDownloader but this means I have to download the file, then if I want an MP3 of the video only, I have to convert it, or if I want a Windows Media Video version I have to convert the .flv version as this type file is what RealPlayer or RealDownloader creates in Windows as a video file format.

  Summary

  1.6.0.959 will also not work but did work last month.
