  If you want to take the complete course, there's a registration fee (the tutor's help is great value if you consider the price of other tutorials!) But you can start learning for free right away by taking the Free Demo. The course does require Shockwave; once you have the player, you can start immediately. The course is very well organized, has a lot of great tools and you practice German the whole time!
