  I bought a Vista machine and almost threw it out. A friend recommended this program and all is well it has made a world of difference. You have to be a engineer to figure Vista out, thank good for geek in a box.

  If you want to use your computer without help or reading manual after manual, just to forget what was said in such books. I recommend the fast way out, geek in a box. No learning or computer knowledge is needed.   Pros

  I am so impressed with this software, me and my wife own 3 computers two up stairs and one downstairs in the family room. we used to have to be in different rooms of the house. With the user accounts function we get to spend a lot more time together.

  Cons

  none I can see...

  Summary

  This software is the trial version, but offers full functionally. I have yet to find a trial version with complete functionality. You will be able to setup your computer the way you want it way before the 30 uses are up. Do yourself a favor and try this program.

  Pros

  My children recommended the book windows vista for dummies, it cost 24.99 and was 286 pages of mumbo jumbo. With the geek in a box I was able to accomplish all I wanted. I like it so much I spent 19.99 and ordered the paid version.

  Cons

  I wish there were more programs from clemcode.

  Summary

  If want to read and learn how to operate your then may I recommend take 2-3 months and read the manuals. If you would like your computer done now and cheaply, oh yeah and by you. Then try geek in a box.

  Pros

  My Children recommended I read books and watch video's on how to work the computer I bought last month. It has the Vista operating system, most confusing thing I have ever tried to use. With the Geek in a box, my computer is just how I wanted it.

  Nothing negative to say about geek in a box.

  Summary

  If you are lost working on a Vista computer and don't feel like teaching yourself how to operate the computer. Then geek in a box is my recommendation for you. I would recommend trying this program before calling for help.

  Pros

  This program saved me $225.00, do to the fact that I did not have to pay a technician for labor to reset my computer.

  No complaints here.

  I would recommend this program to anyone unfortunate enough to own a program with windows vista on it.

  Has no pros that I can identify.

  Cons

  Doesn't do anything that you can't do quicker and easier by using the control panel and other areas of windows functionality.

  Summary

  I would strongly recommend a good book (idiots guide or the 'for dummies' series for example). If you're a beginner you will get much more from a good book than you get with this software. And likely cheaper as well.
