Don't be fooled by its simplicity, this small freeware effectively keeps your important notes and performs other handy features. Fuzzy Duck Note Tab resides in the system tray and, when clicked, it displays a small, basic screen to input your text. But the treasure is in the right-click options. Right-click to quickly spell-check, change font, print, and save in TXT or XML format, or as RSS. Additionally, it includes a basic reminder feature that displays the desired note at the desired time. You also can directly run a certain command or calculate basic math by only highlighting the text and selecting the appropriate right-click option. As another bonus, the application can perform a quick Google search of highlighted text. With its plethora of options, Fuzzy Duck Note Tab will delight users looking for a robust note tool.

Works great - just what you need for quick notes or reminders

Pros
It lets you make notes quickly by simply clicking on a tray icon without opening and closing a program or leaving a program open on your dekstop. It has what I need to make quick notes of things I need to remember without out a bunch of unnecessary other items. It uses very little RAM - an added plus - thus I don't mind leaving it running all the time
Cons
I haven't found anything I don't like about it. It doesn't have substantial functionality or many extras, but I didn't want those things in this type of program

Pros
Since I was unable to get it to run, there are no "pros" to report. It's a shame, though, because it sounds like a nifty program.
Cons
The initial download is easy enough, but I couldn't get it to run. The "read me" file states that you have to either download it to a different part(s) of your computer and/or download additional files from other sources to get it to operate. Personally, this was too much of a hassle. Downloading a program and getting it to work shouldn't be this complicated. It's like buying a car, but then having to go all over town to get the parts to get it to run! If you can get it to work, kudos to you. Otherwise, save yourself some time and frustration and get something else.
