Friend Location Sharing for Android

Friend Location Sharing is an Android application that facilitates live location sharing among trusted contacts. Designed primarily for friends, family, and travel groups, it emphasizes mutual consent and privacy in its operation. Key features include real-time GPS tracking on an interactive map, customizable geofenced alerts for arrivals and departures, and encrypted data transit, ensuring user security while sharing locations. The app's straightforward interface allows users to manage sharing permissions on a per-contact basis, promoting a safe and controlled environment for location coordination.

The application operates exclusively on Android devices, compatible with modern versions of the operating system. It requires explicit approval from both parties before any location data is shared, maintaining a focus on voluntary tracking rather than covert monitoring. While it is designed to enhance group coordination for safe meetups, users are responsible for ensuring compliance with platform terms and local regulations regarding location sharing. Its lack of social media features keeps the app streamlined and focused on practical uses.
