COMES WITH VIRUS - AVOID!!!!

Pros
NONE. Even the converter itself refused to open when I tried multiple times.
Cons
Comes with viruses disguised as stupid internet toolbars. They are optional but they are packaged with the converter during the install in a way that is very tricky. I was watching TV at the time and didn't notice I was installing these things. One of these extras was the MIXIDJ Internet toolbar. VIRUS!!! I had to do a SYSTEM RESTORE to remove it, nothing else worked, it disabled my internet and slowed down my computer greatly.
Summary
I'm ashamed of CNET for having this available on their site when it has viruses. REMOVE IMMEDIATELY.

It's shareware for about 10 uses - then you must buy. There is no way around it.....shame cnet...you should label this correctly

Pros
Converts .rm .ram files to AVI format reasonably fast. Has a very simple tutorial.
Cons
Output video quality was bad to me, a bit blurred, pixelated and slow playing that than the original file. some file came out worst than others. No real help support so I had no way of knowing how to set the parameters of the AVI output files.
Summary
I would say to look for something else if you are not very knowledgable about AVI parameters, but give it a try if you are skilled.

There is no Pros about this program.
Cons
I already have Real Player Plus installed on my PC. But Free RM to AVI could not detect it and it wouldn't not let me continue until I download the RM codec. So I went ahead downloaded and installed RM codec but it still would not let me continue.
