there is no need to search for another app if you have the Free RAR extractor tool installed on your comp. It is the perfect tool to extract .rar files in a jiffy. It has an attractive interface which is quite promising. The tool is highly recommended.

The program worked fine. However, my virus scanner quarantined one of the installed files and said there was a virus. My corporate IT department also automatically kicked me off the network, IT took a closer look and confirmed their was a Trojan horse on my computer from the rar extractor. Got a stern warning... And this is separate from all the bloatware they want to install during the install process. I said no to all that and still got a virus. Thanks CNet! You get what you pay for.

I'm not sure when cnet started allowing these kinds of bogus programs on their site but this is unacceptable.

It will install system speed boost and coupon ads even after you decline the install of those components. It just took me 30 mins to uninstall that crap thanks cnet.

Cnet should be ashamed of what they have become for allowing this kind of crap to be downloaded from their site. The folks that made this virus laden crap deserve a slow painful death for wasting peoples time with this foolishness. Death by Mexican cartel skinning would be a good start.
