  Free; specialist dictionaries useful.

  Cons

  Nothing for 2 samples : cyclic vomiting & hemiplegic migraine. Not that uncommon eg see no. of hits on Google. Wordweb (not specific medical) has as much info., loads quicker & no need for online. Amount of info. limits its use considerably.

  It is not online, I can keep it on my desktop

  Cons

  The drugs I take were not in it and I would love to have it and correct the words. I don't want 2 pages of information, they limit it right, but I want more words. This is NOT trial ware which I think they sneak to you and I can't afford.

  No pros, but I didn't leave it installed very long.

  Cons

  I am studying medical terminology with roots, suffixes, prefixes, etc. and this dictionary did not have commonly used words listed.

  Summary

  If you want it for studying I would recommend finding another medical dictionary.

  The interface is not at all user-friendly and the search function in very limited.

  Summary

  I am looking for a better version of a medical dictionary, this is not at all what I expected when reading the description. There are no back and forward buttons, the search function is extremely limited and not very helpful at all.

  Pros

  Nothing, this program is pretty useless. Way to basic for actual use.

  Cons

  The definition's are very basic. They don't really say much. They don't have some very common disorders or syndromes listed. I can do better by going to the Mayo Clinic website and using their search engines for any disease I want to look up.

  This is not a very helpful program. Don't bother with it.
