  Pros

  I like the simplicity of this software. It gives me an easy way to just print out the graph and hand it to my doctor.

  Cons

  I wish there were more choices as to WHEN I test my blood suger, or a choice to just type in the time. I Always check my blood sugar before breakfast, but NOT neccessarily fasting, because it may not be a full 12 hours from the last time I ate.

  Pros

  I can track different types of glucose readings (fasting and after meals) and see the different readings in different colors in a graph or in text. The graph gives me and my doctor all we need to know at a glance.

  Cons

  I would like to see a few tweaks - like personalized ranges for each type of reading (fasting or after meals). I sent an email to creators and got a fast response to try to add this to next update.

  Summary

  I looked at about 20 glucose tracers (really!) before finding this one. It is simple to use and tracks the information you need to know.

  BIG chart to graphically show the BG changes Very nice

  Can't enter BG levels with keyboard, it is mouse only. That's a pain. Plus every 4th or 5th entry, it 'phones home' and opens SoundTells website forcing the user to reconfirm the data that was entered at that time. <p>It's OK, but there has got to be better software out there. <p>I would not recommend this.

• Helpful set of tools for tracking glucose readings

  Pros

  Ease of entering data, with color coding for graph. Room for notes on food or exercise variation. I really like the upper left frame summarizing all notes for each reading. It was great to be able to print this and send it to my doc for review, rather than have to write down all my readings; the work is done for you. I am already losing weight and improving control, after only a few weeks.

  Cons

  I'd like the software to compute mean readings across time and by category (fasting, 2 hr. after lunch, etc.) I keep having to do this manually. Add a calculator to convert glucose readings to A1C. Set the upper line of the graph at the top of the recordable range (e.g., 250 or whatever number seems reasonable to you. As is, my top reading is only 150, but it looks on the graph like I'm skyrocketing because that's as far as the graph goes. Connecting lines don't connect across days, so if you skip a bedtime reading one night, there's no connection from the day before to the day after. Makes it hard to read and follow changes.

  Pros

  I like the ease of use this program provides. No complicating directions, just basic entering of data. The data record, and the Statistic Views are quite helpful.

  Cons

  I find the graphing confusing, providing too much information: fasting, before dinner, 1 hour after meal, 2 hours after meal. This information would be great if it could be filtered to allow what you want displayed. Especially for one in my condition, with blood sugar levels all over the place, and not consistenly monitoring 6 or 7 times a day, the graph is a confusing read. I've only used it for a month's data... maybe over time it will begin to show patterns. <p> <p>The MOST annoying thing about this program, however is the constant popups. It is free, though. I don't know if there is an upgrade purchase option or not.

  Pros

  Keeps track of important issues such as glucose level, times and dates.

  Cons

  Inability to click on a calendar date to add data. You have to go to file each time and click add data. Graph does not show a line for bedtime. Glucose result numbers show in calendar in numerical order rather than in order taken. That can be confusing to health provider and patient when establishing treatment plans, especially regarding insulin dose.
