• Full of Adware/Malware if you run the current installer

  Unable to complete the installation as I didn't want to install all the Adware and Malware that appeared to be packaged with the installer files. Not the installer downloads other installers. If you don't take notice of the unwanted software packaged with the flv player it probably works ok. Note the extra software included in the installer process is supposed to be something you can de-select, but I found today the installer process still tries to pull down the unwanted software after you have indicated you don't want it. Defective installer also locks up, it does not necessarily abort it's installation if you decide to cancel.

  Unreliable installer. Installs unwanted components. Ignores user requests to skip unwanted content. Installer forcibly tries to dump malware onto your system. Breaks some systems in the process of installing or canceling installers progress. Aborted installs require tools to clean out the partly paused installer files.

  Removes Firefox home page. Adds unwanted toolbar and sets off Kaspersky like crazy. I did decline all of the crap during installation. These people should be in jail.

  Downloaded the program - opened it, it immediately told me there was a much newer version and I needed to update - which I did. Unzipped the update and it has been a tragic experience since. Three days late I am still trying to rid myself of all the malware using every anti-malware program available and, in the meantime, every FLV file I had has evidently been corrupted along with two other versions of well known FLV players I already had installed. RUN, DON'T WALK, AWAY FROM THIS PROGRAM! CNET - why is this even allowed on Download.com?

  Not one SINGLE one! SADLY EVERY SINGLE ONE of 'CONVERT AUDIO FREE' products are that way!!

  Fraudulently ADVERTISED as FREE yet nothing but ONLY adware! Fraudulently does NOT let you know from the website it is only 95% adware. Fraudulent! Even if you carefully disable all allowable adware options you are still FLOODED with ads. Had to down load the 'Autorun.exe' utility from Microsoft, to git rid of it. Fraudulently tried to change your start page, tried to change the default search-engine, and actually installs swiffsearch ? one of the WORSE malware/adware around. Fraudulently PURCHASES ANY possible positive comments on here! More ads than even Firefox Ad-blocker Plus could not handle them ? however PLEASE NOTE: AdBlocker Plus was able to be modified to block all. HINT, HINT!

  Summary

  CERTAINLY not worth the cleanup hassle! A person or company is ONLY as good as their word. SO, if they will lie about ONE thing they will lie about ANYTHING! That leaves me wondering just WHAT damage, spy-ware or virus have they left in my system? ABSOLUTELY cannot understand how CNET could rate these so height!! Reviews must now be bought off :(
