  Pros: Has disk location -- I can't believe how many of these catalogers don't have this! Disk numbers (what it calls code), looks up audio CDs, not a lot of steps to add disks (auto ejects), barcode field

  Cons: Puts location and numbers in the detail pane -- should be in disk pane, macros seem like work -- but might be useful, doesn't seem to disable autorun, can't arrange columns, priced maybe a tad hi at $30, has confusing double arrow cursor in Options when flying over the Tabs, seems a little slow to scan a disk (ugly dialog box), interface sometimes confusing, cover printer not included

  It's so user unfriendly that i couldn't get it to identify my mp3 collection let alone organise it ... no one but the software maker would have any idea how to use it ... and another thing ... all the reviews before this are fake and have been put in by the manufacturer ... i'm uninstalling this horrible thing !!

  I have been testing softwares to keep track of my cds and what's in them. And not less important than this, is to know WHERE did you put your CDs. And this amazing software has a LOCATION field to keep this information. <p> <p>The interface is very simple and easy to use. <p> <p>You should give it a try.

  Cons

  It's just a detail but an important feedback to the programmers. Today it's possible to choose the column you want to display (information) of your CDs. But you are not able to move those columns and neither sort by one of them. <p> <p>Also, the left pane (like folders) should allow the categorization by Location.

  Pros

  This program is Great. My computer is slow, but this software runs at an amazing speed! It seems to have every feature I could possibly want, and then some, to keep track of my CD's. It even has a loan feature, so i can keep track of who i let borrow my music! It is very easy to use, as well. I was able to use it fine after about 2 minutes! Searching is simple on this, as well! I am so glad I tried this program, it will be very useful to me. It isn't useful for me, but i was amazed at how many languages it supported, and loved how it could automatically detect the CD's name.

  Cons

  The only possible thing i would like, as the other reviewer mentioned, would be a little bit more audio information, and just for kicks, maybe some more skins to choose from.

  I have tried many cataloguing programs in past but when I first tried this program I realized that all of other programs were nowhere near competition with CD Bank Cataloguer. <p> <p>User friendly! I love CD Bank Cataloguer for its great useability and also for the features which are added to the program when users request them. <p> <p>Excellent Support! CD Bank Cataloguer has a great support forum. Unlike many others, CD Bank Cataloguer developers actively listen to what users say. <p> <p>Unique! Programs can load slowly with large databases. CD Bank Cataloguer uniquely overcomes this problem by storing disk information in small files. CD Bank Cataloguer loads blistering fast no matter how many disks you have in the database. <p> <p>Fast! It reads a whole disk in seconds. Searching for the right disk has never been easier. It uses Windows search style. For example if you search for a folder called: wget 2.0 it will also list folders such as wget_2.0 and wget-2.0 so you will never miss a result. You can also fine tune your search results by storing meta-data to disks. <p> <p>Portable! With a less than 1 MiB installer, CD Bank Cataloguer only needs to be installed once. You can reinstall Windows and CD Bank will still work without the need of reinstallation of the program. I have it installed in Documents folder (so that when I backup my Documents the CD Bank data gets backed up automatically). <p> <p>Plug-ins! CD Bank Cataloguer is extensible by the use of plug-ins. Very useful plug-ins such as Comparator, DiskToHTML, Front CD Cover and Micro CD Sticker can be found under Disk Utilities menu. <p> <p>I think this review looks almost like a description by the people who made it because this program is that good and I respect the developers' passion and effort that they have put into this great product.   1. Very easy to use. The user interface is simple but powerful. <p>2. Very fast. Usually it takes you 2-3 seconds to scan & add a CD to your Cataloguer. <p>4. Multi-language support (more than 20 languages). <p>5. Rich-feature. Come with many add-ons and plugins. <p>6. Easy to customize. <p>7. Loan support. Don't need to remember who borrowed you CDs. <p>8. Audio CD support. Automatically get info from CDDB.com and feed into your CD's info within seconds. <p>9. And so on...

• Excellent cataloguer for Data CDs and DVD's

  Pros

  CD Bank Cataloguer is an excellent tool for cataloging your CDs and DVD's. I tried it for cataloging my 50 Data CDs and 20 Data DVD's. The cataloging was very quick and searching too. Its almost perfect but I would like archive support (ZIP/RAR/7z etc). Since most of my backup consistsof zips and rars. Also required is thumbnail creation for photo cds(GIF/JPG/PNG/PSD/ICO etc).

  Cons

  Not exactly cons but would like the features mentioned above. Extra audio information is not stored like Bitrate, Length etc.

• Powerful CD catalog database and cover designer

  Pros

  I use it for cataloging my large CD-DVD collection (more than 700 disks), and it's working FAST. Full disk information, loaning status, MP3 tags - all in one customizable explorer-like window. CD Cover printing starts directly from catalog. I design the disk template for a once, and print out the tens custom covers by one mouse click. <p>Then I had an idea for this program (reading RAR archives from disks), I wrote to authors and few days later this feature will arrived. Good work!

  Cons

  I need the Internet cover database searching. I can't see this feature in program at this time. Hope, they add it in the closest future.
