Free FLAC Player is an audio player application for playing your Free Lossless Audio Codec files or simply flac file extension. There are many music players out there but this one is great because of its performance and smoothness in running and playing files. The application has a great user interface and is very easy to use. You can control you playback like increasing or decreasing speed, Play, Pause, Mute and all common controls in any audio player. You can control volume level by scrolling your mouse wheel over the volume slider and can move forward or backward by scrolling it on the progress slider too. A playlist window is shown at the bottom and it acts smart in opening files. You can drag and drop FLAC files over its window and the application starts playing automatically. The drag and drop window filters FLAC files and you can't drop wrong files over its window. The playlist function is great because it is very customizable. You can Add, Remove, Move up and Move down your music files and save your playlists to standard m3u files. Also, you can open playlist files and play them with this player. Shuffle function is also available to randomize played list. Some key features of Free FLAC Player are: Plays music files with FLAC file extension. Nice and easy to use user interface. Open and Save standard m3u playlist files. Drag and drop function for playing music files. Shuffle playlist to randomize the order of playing.

Pros
FLAC as we all know is a lesser known media file format and is not supported by all media players or devices. To avoid having to convert all your files to supported formats, download this Free FLAC player and play your files in great quality or any glitches.

Does the job Easy to use Extended functionality like building and using playlists
Cons
After installation you first have to get rid of annoying adware. Afterwards you have to install your web browser again as all your favorites, incl. LastPass, have been removed by the adware.
Summary
After all the trouble I had after the installation I will continue using the player, but not wholeheartedly and I would NOT advocate it to new users.
Reported as Adware by AVG so I abandoned the install

Might be able to play FLAC music while stealing all your stuff

Is stealing all your stuff, or the software author is too dumb to talk to malware organizations to get his/her stuff 'registered'.

None, didn't even make it far enough through the install.
Cons
Loads of sketchy bloatware and toolbar add-ons. Immediately after a reboot my Chrome browser was hijacked upon start up and would open around 15 random search tabs, slowing my laptop to a crawl.
Summary
I wasted so much time identifying and removing the malicious PUP files that this download installed. Stay away.

Didn't get far enough to find any - the install never really worked.
Cons
Contained no fewer than 7 unwanted bloatware add-ons in the installation. Isn't it pathetic that Yahoo has to PAY people for set Yahoo as a default search? Then, after cvlicking "no" and "decline" to all the bloatware they tried to sneak in, the FLAC player refused to work in my Windows 7 system. It wants me to install a new ".net" framework, which would probably kill my poor 4 year old computer.

This download was a total waste of time.

The flac player works well. It's simple and easy to use.
Cons
There were about 7 additional program downloads added to this flac player. 3 were easy to uninstall but the rest were a real pain.

Cons
Even though I did the custom install and made sure not to install any of the crap that came with it and declined all of their "offers" this still installed ShowPass on my computer. The UI is not very user friendly
