  Horrible piece of ineffectual shareware. NOT Free !!! "FREE" is a lie. This is a scam.

  Summary

  I sincerely regret downloading this POS. DO NOT make the same mistake I did. Waste of time. Run away! Fast! I sincerely believe that ANY positive reviews provided for this software are being written by the program's authors. There is nobody anywhere who could possibly both USE and LIKE this fetid abomination. Total piece of crap.

• Not Free Software AT ALL

  Pros

  Works fantastically. Easy to use, and it's fast.

  Cons

  Nothing for the first half dozen or so uses. Then it requires you to get a "one-time free registration code." This requires you to do an absurdly complicated math equation just to generate a one-time code.

  Summary

  Once you generate the one-time code, you're also locked out of the software for 10 hours, before they'll let you generate another code. Of course, you can bypass all of this by just paying them $20!

  Downloaded several products that was just a trial version and found this one to be exactly what I wanted.

  Could not find anything bad to say.

  Free DVD ISO Maker 1.2 is an excellent product. Thought it is very basic it performed exactly what I wanted to do - make a iso image from CD. Very easy and simple to use.

  The interface in intuitive, it works well with Windows 7, and the price is right!

  Summary

  This freeware has worked well for me in Windows 7. The easy to use interface required no reading of instructions. It's very intuitive. I have made several good ISO files successfully, and the price is right (free). What is not to like?

  Pros

  Makes a CD image, injects a link to minidvdsoft in all ISO images.

  Cons

  Forces users to install a wierd virus that gives the publisher access to your computer.

• It Is NOT Free, AND Downloads a Virus When You Register

  Works fine, once or twice.

  Cons

  After the first few uses it starts asking for a code which must be generated every time you use it - AND they require you to do stupid MATH equations to GET the code. To top it off my system found a TROJAN a minute after each code was generated. OMG

  This makes me sick. HORRIBLE

  Creates iso image from the CD just fine.

  Cons

  Prompts for new key EVER time it is run. This is NOT free unlimited use SW.

  Summary

  Promoted as free unlimited, unrestricted software, but it is nothing more than teaser software. It is unusable as a practical utility without purchasing the lifetime key. Product may be good, but rated poorly because of the deceptive "free" listing.
