  If you like your computer to be spyed on and like to deal with the bugs and drop outs later in use, Download and install now.

  Cons

  I think it Needs net access to work or runtime problems later in the middle of use, unless it doesn't work on 95,NT,64bit and maybe others, else the program could be just buggy.

  It has a lot of options for business use, it's free.

  Cons

  Some problems like crashing, random regristration error, can't delete accounts after you've created them. It's buggy in general. I wouldn't trust to keep my business with this program.

  Pros

  Good overall piece of software. It seems to work out pretty well since I have multiple departments, each providing different sources of income. This will be my main accounting program from now on.

  You do need to back up your information in fear of losing it.

  Pros

  For a start it's free, it's got a nice interface, it's the simplest accounting program I have used, it's powerful, it's an all round great program. <p> <p>It gives you all the options you need for use, support for multiple countries and organisations and everything is stored on an SQL/MSDE server. <p> <p>Plus they have a helpful support forum... what else could you want from a free program?

  Cons

  Installation can be slightly confusing for new users, you have to setup the company origionally as a US company, then after login add a State to your country (in my case the UK) and then edit the company, and save the details. <p> <p>The only thing I don't like is that you can't undo some changes and that you have to put how much goods cost in the first place - because I provide a service, there are no costs for making the "product".

  Pros

  Seems to do just about anything I need it to do plus more. Help files are helpful.

  Cons

  A lot of information cannot be changed once entered (eg. bank account opening balance, invoice date, etc.), leading to many DB restores if you are not extra careful. Print-outs of reports are not great and you cannot modify print or page settings. Had to run the install file twice : first time MS SQL installed, second time the application installed (nothing indicated I would have to do this). A lot of fields are mandatory when they should be optional (eg. "Terms" and "Ship To" on invoices) since services can't be shipped.
