You can play in the scales from your PC keyboard as well as a music keyboard. Many retuning features for composers, musicians, and microtonalists. Send musical e-cards. Retune music compositions. Retuning midi player. Chord progression player. Use PC keyboard as musical instrument. Bird Song transcriptions, Wave shape Player, CSound automated orchestra builder, features to go over the Midi 16 instrument limit for large orchestral compositions, rhythms and polyrhythms meteronome. Many other features. Demo has 10-minute playing time per session and other restrictions for special features - but there is no limit on how long you can use it. Maximum of six musical e-cards sent per session and six midi saves.

On the positive side I feel most the instruments sound pretty good for computer generated sound. And who is say that computer generated sound will not become normally assimilated or fashionable in music in the future ? Also, the choice of fractal tunes one play are more than adequate. What's more I've discovered a way in which one can play this program as an computer instrument with virtuall time calculation updating (I strongly advise against real time calculation updating) Surely, that's more than enough that one can expect from fractal music generator at present. On the negative side I feel the developer could have simplified quite a few things. I had a job just trying to figure out how save the recorded files. He has packed an awful lot of features into 2mb. Having said all this, I still think it is worthwhile to learn how use this program. Mainly, because the sound quality of the instruments are somewhat better than in Artsoft. And I can use it as a computer instrument to play with. I've decided to give keep both progams.

Takes awhile to download for those with modems. I am a song writer and lookin for a way to devople my background music, and this close but isn't what i'm looking for. Its very hard to figure out too!

Tunes? If you call some really bad sounding flutes and oboes tunes then this could be for you! It was pointless and boring to me! Least it did work and I was able to uninstall it!
