Our time with this free torrent downloader was brief because a glitch prevented it from working properly. FoxTorrent is a Firefox add-on that appears in your Tools menu.

According to the four-step guide that details how the program works, you're supposed to be able to click on a torrent, and the program automatically starts the download process. But in our tests, we continually received an error message stating that the Red Swoosh service was missing. No details were given about what that service was, but we were given the option to reinstall it. Even after this "fix," we still couldn't get the program to work. The Red Swoosh service appeared to reinstall, but we still received errors messages when we tried to download torrents.

There are thousands (if not millions) of really good Firefox extensions. This isn't one of them. If you're looking for a Firefox-compatible torrent program, we suggest that you overlook this one and keep searching.

I love it but couldn't use it with Firefox 3.0.

Pros
What I really like about this torrent extension is the convenience lack of memory and hard drive it uses.
Cons
The extension isn't compatible with the new Firefox browser and I'm using the new 3.0 browser that sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Summary
It's a very nice and convenient extension I just love that it plugs into Firefox and I really like the convenience of downloading torrents right from the browser without the use of another torrent program like Bit-torrent or U-torrent. I also love that the extension downloads very fast and very easy to use as well. But as I stated before what I don't like is that you can't use the extension with the new Firefox that sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please Firefox makers create a Firefox torrent version for Firefox 3.0 browser this would be very much appreciated thank you :)

Hybrid between Firefox and torrents enough said.
Cons
Just use Utorrent it is more customizable and a much better tweaker.
