• Great for writing formulas to paste in other programs

  Ease of use. Could quickly manipulate/write formulas with text or any mathematical symbols needed.

  Cons

  The help menu in this version lists an old URL for the developer so upgrading to the most recent version took some investigation on the web.

  Summary

  I found Formulator Express very easy to use. Loved the quick easy interface with the different math symbols or expression characters available. It was easy to export formulas as images to other programs or saved for presentation on the web. I found the help menu sparse, but the program is mostly so intuititve that you do not need it for much. The latest version 3.9 has good instructions on the developer's website. I found that adding subscripts or superscripts was very easy. Switching back and forth between text and mathimatical formulae was a breeze. I could import graphics if necessary easily for writing problmems. The undo button had multiple levels of undo which was very useful if a mistake was made. I found that I could quickly write math and calculaus test problem for my students very quickly with ease.

  I liked this product because it is easy to use. It gives examples to choose so that you know what type of problem you are working. Its greart for algebra dummies like me. Thank You

  It is very good software, you can type any mathematical formula through it

  Cons

  the expressions generated is in the form of picture (.jpg) so it canot be edited after transfering to any MS Office programe So if you want to do so try Menu>Insert>Object>Expression 3.0 in any MS programme Else the programe is very good
