  Pros

  After months of fighting with the new MyYahoo! homepage and trying to get it to remember my location (it never did), and searching for a weather app(?) that would be accurate and not take up a bunch of memoroy, I found this. It does everything I wanted from above.

  one of three browser weather plugin great,other two being aniweather and russian gismeteo(for chrome).miss it for a poorer firefox functionality.these addons make firefox reputed and famous for its extensions.

  This version 2.x works in FF4 betas / Minefield, but that's all good news.

  (Now) Poorly customizable, crippled forecast capabilities (4 days only), loss of meteorological detail, poor user interface (web page)

  Summary

  When CNET rated this product top once upon a while, it was top, and well worth that judgement. Please come back and compare what you find / which feature set it sports by now AND follow the user feedback on the so called "upgrade". You will see that the major part of what made Forecastfox so popular has gone. OK, it now works in FF4 betas / Minefield, but that's all good news. Developers seem to be badly advised and are unresponsive to user feedback.<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Sep 28, 2010<p/>Just forgot: the description given by the developer Ensolis is really no more true for what Forecastfox is now, just wishful thinking respectively describing its former high level of usefulness and customization that it lost.

• INSTANT WEATHER IN THE BROWSER

  Pros

  I had this since it came out. I like it very much and it is customizable easy to add or change what i want to show and how. Quiet and never had a conflict in years. Solid and dependable and I never get an ad in Firefox.

  Cons

  The only con is that the browser has to be going and I cant have just on the desktop all the time Can not think of any other real cons at all for this little app.

  Summary

  I have used this since it came out and though it hasnt really changed much, and most things do keep vital by constantly upgrading updating and all kinds of interface tweaks that after 2 yrs i cant tell them from the original. For some it is good for others it is enough to leave a good thing alone. I did try another very similar program even looked the same and connected to accuweather almost a clone but I went back to this one as it has never failed. the only thing it is missing is the connection to off line or desktop weather checks. I changed to the clone because it did have the desktop feature but it was so quirky i dropped it in a matter of a week because it constantly dropped the primary weather location and sent pop ups flying into whatever i was watching or doing until i tried to fix it and then it would not find anything for an hour and interrupt over and dover. way too much hassle, so back to the dependable foxfire<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Oct 27, 2009<p/>i reviewed this and forgot to check off the stars it gets 5 from me all day

  Pros

  This small add-on for Firefox goes onto the status bar and tells you the weather of your area currently. I love this add-on because it's good for me to know the weather. It even notifies you when there's severe weather and has small little icons to make it look more charming. I have had no problems with it, it functions, and very easy to setup.
