SIMPLE INSULIN MGMT. If you take insulin, you can set 1 CU to your preferred "insulin to carbohydrate unit ratio". For the future, you will know exactly how many shots you will need with each carb unit you consume. It is possible to adjust the app from 5 grams to 18 grams of carbohydrates per carb unit (CU) and the app will do all the necessary calculations for you. BENEFITS OF CARB UNITS.
