Access your most used folders easily as a virtual hard drive.
Folder Drives is a small freeware utility that will mount your most used folders as Virtual Hard Drives making them easily accessible from My Computer, the Explorer Tree and from within the program. Traversing through Windows Explorer to get to the folder we want can sometimes be troublesome and time consuming. Using the folders as Virtual Hard Drives provides instant access to any folder added to the program. Folder Drives works on any folder on the local computer and across your Network in your Workgroup.
Click on drive letters instead of looking for folders.

Pros
Saves a lot of time by going directly to a specific folder (drive letter) instead of clicking through folders and subfolders. Especially easy in programs such as PowerDesk where you'd simply click on the drive in the "drive listing bar".
Cons
Haven't come up with one yet, but I'm concerned about file paths if I create & save a file through a particular drive letter and try to search for it without having mounted that drive letter again. I will update this once I have experimented with this.
