  Pros

  -The workflows are a very clear way of handling our supply process. -Great at handling different types of end users -Free for a small company

  Cons

  -We had to upgrade hardware to meet the system reqs - Hard to figure it all out at first. The videos helped, but it still took a couple of days to understand the admin interface.

  Summary

  We installed it to take care of our supplier quality concerns and it completely exceeded our expectations. Workflows are extremely clear and can do just about anything. We've saved a ton of manual work we used to spend sorting through tickets and trying to route them in the right directions. It has been a great tool for us.

  -Easy to use interface, easy to train new users -Simple to add new workflows -Can control access down to the field level and even set conditional access based on the record contents. -Easy to add new tables and rules -Generates inventory reports

  Cons

  -Not free if you have more than 5 staff users -There are out of the box templates, but you'll really have to modify one to get it exactly how you want.

  Summary

  We used to use an older legacy system for our asset management, and it was always really annoying because it never did exactly what we wanted and was really inflexible - you had to write a bunch of code just to change what fields were displayed in a table, so we'd always have to end up doing a lot of our work manually anyway. This is the first asset system we've tried that's flexible enough to do what we need without programming. I set up an entire inventory tracking process with custom tables, rules, reports in a couple of days using IE only. It's a huge step up. There are some free asset systems out there, but they all need programming and for us, this was a better time/cost equation.
