Nicely set up program but has far too many errors.
crisoco- Pros
- Great views of highlighted search results. Searches in archive zip files. Shows line number with text and total number of lines in the file so it is a guide as to where the text is located. Brilliant display of text and can change colours.
- Cons
- Click load file gives JIT Debugging error. No link to open a file. Produces Windows error. Exit program produces serious ?bump? error sound. No whole word search. Searches ?special? & ?specialises?. Does not search for file name. Help file errors.
- Summary
- Support suggested that the error was with one of my files which is not the case. Have sent a full Windows report of the error but as yet have not heard back. The download link has not been set up correctly in download.com. Confusing versions on download.com. Version 1 and version 1.0 and FindIt 2.0 (BiziLogic). I think the program should have tested better or placed in beta. I have therefore uninstalled the software and opted for Copernic 2.3 build 18 (do not upgrade to version 3) XYplorer 5.55 FileLocator Pro v4.5 b842
