• Looks like you're screwed if you run out of cache

  Pros

  Just the concept itself, does work if you're not doing too much

  Cons

  I was building a Virtualbox VM and as far as I can tell it just ran out of cache. There is no warning and no way to adjust the amount of cache on the fly, if you look at the FAQ/docs you have to use the uninstall/repair option. Hours of work was lost and a TON of missing indexes etc. when Windows scanned C: upon rebooting.

  Summary

  They need to take care of this problem, you can't always anticipate how much work you're going to do and the average user won't be able to do it or KNOW they need to do it for themselves. Even at $12.50 I am returning the license to Bitsdujour.

• I turn it on before I try registry cleaning software.

  Pros

  I used to worry about registry cleaning software destroys my PC. Since I found SafeShield. I turn it on before I try new software to make sure it doesn't mess up my system. When in doubt, I just restart my computer and it goes back to the way it was.

  Cons

  Nothing so far.

  Pros

  Good for XP bad for win7 .Freezes up on 7 no error description .just not responding One win7 was pristine with no extra software or antivirus to conflict .Tried on 2 XPs 2 Win 7s. Both win7s just stoped responding

  Good 4 XP Very iffy for Win7

  I like this program but cant advise buying it because of issues with win 7

• Why Pay when there are free alternates

  Pros

  This could be good, but with Deep Freeze, SteadyState, & Sandboxie, all of which are much better, there is no point in this.

  Cons

  This is not free. Sandboxie supports 64-bit and is essentially the best I've seen. Windows SteadyState would be second on that list.

  Summary

  Why pay for this garbage, when there are free alternatives.

  Pros

  Plenty. I installed this POS and it did not, or would not, turn on any protection. Just hung with a Not Responding indicator, even after leaving it overnight. Once I uninstalled it my Sidebar gadgets were missing and Firefox continues to crash.

  Cons

  Yeah. Don't use it.
