• Won't overwrite already-deleted files

  Very simple to use, and effective for what it was designed to do.

  Cons

  Not useful for bulk security where the not-in-use areas of a disk need to be overwritten to destroy traces of deleted files. The interface isn't intuitive, and it lacks useful help files and instructions. Their website appears to be in Russian.

  Summary

  Okay as a file shredder; limited utility for security purposes. One of the more important functions of programs in this category is to provide a way to completely overwrite all of the "blank" space on a disc, as a means of ensuring that already-deleted files are unrecoverable. This program will not do that. Additionally, the program's controls are not helpful; this is a simple tool best used by the technically adept, not a utility that the average user will find safe and easy to employ.
