  loved it! It was fast, and it was real easy to direct music to a folder, and then audiobooks to another folder

I want to go back and give it more stars. I can send music to where I want it and books to a completely other folder... my old program would name stuff whatever it felt like and I could never find it..alll my musicals were under soundtrack and it took me forever to find them. I like being in control again.

  Pros

  Stick a CD in and (if you have the Internet) your titles get automatically updated. Press the "extract" button and away it goes. You have the option of different output formats (MP3, Wav, ADA, etc.) and you can select your destination directory.

  Cons

  I couldn't find anything wrong with it; hence the 5-star rating.

  Summary

  With all the built-in features which also includes a player, you can not pick a better extractor. And don't forget: it is free (there is an option to donate towards it's development).

  Unknown. I'd have to be able to use it in order to find out.

  Cons

  I put in a CD, open the program, and got an error message that it couldn't find any CD/DVD device. Can't find any option or setting to choose/locate a disc drive to use. ZERO tech support, so I can't even troubleshoot.

  Summary

  Either completely broken or just an advert for a paid program that's mislabeled as being a program in itself. It looks like it would be simple &#38; easy to use, if only I could get that far. There are lots of settings for OUTPUT (quality, naming, location, features of the file it makes), but virtually nothing for INPUT (the cd &#38; drive it gets the song from). It's probably a very simple matter with just some small setting I have to adjust once, but there's no telling what that setting is. The program has no real tech support, the Help menu has a FAQ with *only one* question in it ("Is this program Free? Yes, it's freeware and doesn't have any adware."), and a link to the website, which doesn't say much more. Absolutely no info on troubleshooting problems. The initial error message suggests a link where I can download ASPI drivers (whatever that is), but they aren't listed as being Win Vista/7 compatible. The only other option is an e'mail address for the program's maker. Honestly I think this program is kind of a scam; like a demo or preview intended to convince people to buy the premium version, except this free version doesn't actually do anything. At all.

  Pros

  Superfast install w/no crapware. Opened the software, put in the CD which it automatically loaded. I clicked the format I wanted (MP3), the download folder, &#38; 5 mins later a 20 track CD was converted with no audio loss. Best out there by far!

  Cons

  None. Super Easy, Super Fast and no CRAPWARE!

  Summary

  I only give a review on very bad software or very good. This is not only a very good software but excellent in every way. Highly recommended to all and not often I say that!

• Easy to Use and Reliable

  Pros

  I have put 40 to 50 CDs through v1.33 and it has performed very well. Access to CD and track title database works well with features allowing the user to change genre and other labeling options for your particular library filing preferences.

  Cons

  One minor thing about initial track reading may require an extra "click" on the radio button to persuade the program to read the next CD inserted, thus clearing the previous Cd's track list. Once this is done, no problems.

  Summary

  I'm looking to complete my entire CD collection with this software. I particularly like the labeling features and the program is not overwhelming for the average user. I can also listen to music I just transferred using my favorite AIMP player and surf while both of these are running on my somewhat mediocre 2.0Ghz PC without any hangs or slowdowns.
