Monitor and recover services on a secondary system.

This application can be used to determine if a system has become unresponsive to pings or web requests. This application works well as a disaster recovery addition for monitoring and calling a script to recover services on a secondary system. There are two files located with in the application's program files folder. These two files are called host.txt and settings.txt. These two files will be used to set your hosts for monitoring and also settings which set email alerts. Example of the host file which includes all the host to be monitored. There are four seprate columns that can be set which are separated by semicolons. Use "#" to disable or comment lines. This application runs as a service. You can use Local System or specify an account you would like to run. You can set an service account you need to control your scripts. Failsafe is completely configurable as a service. If the service fails you can also utilize the recovery features of service accounts to execute further scripts or send further alert information.
