This program may perform its intended function, but we were not willing to purchase a second program to find out. EZReg promises to scan the Windows Registry searching for problems. The interface is a single button that goes unused as the program starts automatically when opened. It finishes the scan in a few seconds then displays a number under "problems found." The program doesn't list the problems or their location. Users are expected to click a link leading to the EZReg home page. Doing so loads a Web site promising another program to repair the problems, but the user must pay for a lease to use the new program. We didn't find EZReg to perform a useful function. Without details of the problems found by EZReg, we cannot recommend this program for any user.

I had just reformatted my computer the other day, so everything on it is by default. When I scanned my computer with this program, it found well over 100 faults, and said there was a problem with ActiveX & MS Share. It also contained a typo in the message (very unprofessional.) It then automatically opened up a web page & began to download another product to clean up these errors.
