Glad I tried this trial version - it saved me money from buying the full product!
Cons
Poor support when I contacted them, only does rudimentary payroll, and only a TRIAL version, ugh.

Cheap Can be used to print checks, just make sure you keep track of them with something else

I have used this for payroll for 1.5 years. Half way through 2012 I mysteriously lost ALL data and could not find it. After a very laborious process of duplicating my payroll data (thank God I only have one employee) I backed up everything according to instructions online. After I upgraded to the 2013 version, all my data is GONE again!!! I couldn't find it nor would the "saved" data help me recover what was lost. This is not worth it if you care what happens to the records of the last checks you wrote, believe me. ZERO stars.

Pros
simple for creating checks and payroll stubs, even if you want to fake a payroll stub for getting an apartment or other needs, works like a charm. (not that im promoting using this free trial for that, but it works well for that)
