Used EZNetInfo for Windows?
Editors’ Review
Give your XP an option that should be a Windows default with this tiny app that displays your IP address in your toolbar. EZNetInfo's default interface is just an icon on your toolbar, but it is easy to pop open a simple but detailed display. Help is just a few paragraphs and probably could have been shortened to a few sentences.
Operating EZNetInfo is a mere matter of hovering your mouse over the toolbar icon to display your IP address in a pop-up. Right-click and choose Details for more data. The slim interface seems blank at first, but those who read the manual know to click one of the listed network cards. Host Name, IP address, Default Gateway, DNS Domain, and other detailed information is then displayed.
Not everyone feels a need to know the information this app displays, but it's useful for system administrators, lab managers, and others who need an IP address at a glance. EZNetInfo's memory footprint isn't horrendous, but is higher than expected. The program is freeware, and it's easy to install and uninstall, so we recommend you see what kind of hit it puts on your system memory.
