  Did not work at all. Constant crashes. Tried to contact company for tech support. No replies after multiple emails. Tried to get a refund using their 30-day money-back guarantee. No response. Complete and utter waste of money. DO NOT DOWNLOAD.

  I have thrown a dozen avi files from a few difference sources - all play fine in Media player without crazy codecs or hoops to jump through. But EZ AVI to WMV Converter rejects every one of them "this File is not supported". I strongly suspect that the few positive reviews are shills for the publisher. This software does not work. A waste of time.

  When it did work, it was fast and created usable WMV files.

  Needs some debug. Not for someone who doesn't like to tinker with a program to make it work.

  Each time I try to load an .avi file, it gives an error message saying "This file is not supported." How can that be when it's supposed to convert .avi files? I think the positive reviews are from their employees.

  Unable to fully test since it would not work with any avi file i gave it. Although they were all xvids encoded so dont know if this affects it? Not mentioned anywhere i can see

  Pros

  Although the software is only free to try, it allows you to make complete conversions without a watermark, or any other annoyance. And the software does exactly what it says, and does it well. Great software for converting large files to smaller sizes.
