Pros
Love the art pop-ups fading in and out. Not sure what the other reviewer meant about the hot keys. I haven't paid anything and the keys work for me. <p>Doesn't take me out of whatever app I'm in when songs change.

This is what I needed to make iTunes useful! I love the customizable display. <p>I don't know about the other reviewer but the global hotkeys do work for me in the free version. Maybe it's been updated.
Cons
$12.95 to register it for rating synch's, but at least you get 3 serials for use with multiple machines. I may register it if I switch to iTunes.

ExTray is an iTunes plug-in for the Windows operating system that extends iTunes with an advanced system tray application to operate iTunes 5 and above. ExTray provides you with visual feedback about the currently playing tune and even displays the artwork when available. The ExTray controls, together with the ability to control iTunes via system-wide hot key combinations, allows ExTray to facilitate the fastest way of skipping between songs when using the keyboard or the mouse without having to switch to iTunes. With ExTray you can finally export your iTunes track ratings, play counts, and last played dates to a file and import this data onto another machine. Version 1.0.143 adds global hotkeys in the free version.
